Group FaceTime makes it easy to chat with multiple people at the same time. Instead of seeing the image from the camera you see an image with a grey background and a white camera with a cross through it. If it doesn't, you know that the issue isn't related to FaceTime. If you now check FaceTime, we can find out if these processes were causing FaceTime camera not working. This works in most cases, where the issue is originated due to a system corruption. Hopefully, this does the trick, but we still have things to try if it doesn’t. Big Brother fixed the problem but will obviously not admit as much.

Well as soon as I updated my phone and went to FaceTime, it would not let me open the app. Who or jhat it was - I do not know - I suspect both had an issue with the new MacBook camera.
